The ‘Fuegoza’ brand prides itself in sharing traditional recipes and authentic Mexican flavors o the college market. It is a fictional local business that wants to share their story on their new website and promote their flavorful taco sauces across the globe. Their ingredients come from locally sourced farms in Bacalar, Mexico. Their products are handcrafted with love. Fuegoza strives for communal values and appreciation, aiming to expand their efforts further beyond and to make the world a healthier and happier place.
The color palette is rich and fresh, combining traditional and natural colors with a contrasting teal to liven up the website overall. The logo combines an armadillo, a symbol of resilience in Mexico, and a chili pepper, a common ingredient in Mexican cuisine. The logotype is based on Aztec engravings and traditional Mexican quilting patterns. The illustrations also reflect that geometric motif but with more detail for recognition. Each illustration reflects commonly found and sourced ingredients in Mexico and Mexican sauces. Simpler geometric shapes dance behind the more detailed illustrations to bring a pop of color and movement to each page. The designs on the bottles themselves have that same crowded illustration feel but in a simpler and more handmade sense. The illustrative backgrounds on the bottles are mono colored to make sure the name of the flavor is legible.
